The Gig Pricing Formula
To find your Fiverr gig list price, divide your desired net earnings by 0.80:
Gig Price = Target Net ÷ 0.80
- Want to net $400? List at $500
- Want to net $800? List at $1,000
- Want to net $2,400? List at $3,000
What the Buyer Pays (5.5% Fee)
Buyers pay an additional 5.5% service fee on top of your gig price (minimum $2). This does not come out of your earnings — but it does affect how competitive your gig appears versus market alternatives:
- Your $100 gig costs the buyer $105.50 total
- Your $500 gig costs the buyer $527.50 total
Factor this in when comparing your total-cost-to-buyer versus direct competitors.
